The Holocaust Center for Humanity maintains a collection of almost 10,000 artifacts, photographs, and oral histories primarily from local Holocaust survivors. Our collections illustrate the diversity of experiences during the Holocaust, and provide a tangible connection to the past. Many of these materials are featured in our exhibit Finding Light in the Darkness or highlighted in temporary exhibits throughout the year.

Artifacts on Loan from Auschwitz

The Holocaust Center is one of the few museums in the US to feature artifacts on loan from the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum, including a child's shoe, a pair of glasses, a suitcase, and a comb. Plan your visit to see these artifacts on display.
