Ambassadors for Change
AFC
Ambassadors for Change (AFC) is a cohort of young professionals dedicated to increasing awareness of the Holocaust Center for Humanity’s mission by expanding its stakeholder base. Through education, dialogue and coalition-building, AFC empowers others to stand together to fight hate, think critically about lessons from Holocaust history, and take action in the present day.

Educators for Change
EFC
Educators for Change (EFC) is a group of dedicated educators who have committed to taking an active role in Holocaust and genocide education in our state and inform the educational programs and resources of the Holocaust Center for Humanity. Teachers are selected by the Holocaust Center for Humanity based on their engagement, qualifications, geographical location, and commitment to Holocaust and genocide education.

Student Leadership Board
SLB
For students in grades 7-12, in Seattle and Spokane. Applications for 2026-2027 SLB are due September 18, 2026.
The Student Leadership Board brings together passionate, motivated students to deepen their understanding of the Holocaust and other genocides while collaborating on meaningful projects, volunteering, and engaging with survivors, community members, and leaders. Through hands-on experiences, members build real-world leadership skills, serve as ambassadors for the Holocaust Center, and are empowered to make connections between past and present injustices while learning to speak out and act as upstanders. Students from all backgrounds, ethnicities, and religions are invited to apply. Meetings are in-person twice a month.

Continuing Generations
Children, grandchildren, and descendants of Holocaust survivors
Continuing Generations is a group of descendants of Holocaust survivors living in the Pacific Northwest who are interested in connecting and engaging in educational and social programming. Continuing Generations is an opportunity to exchange stories of unique shared experiences and build community with other descendants of the Holocaust.
Events and programs are held several times a year. Members are welcome to attend as many (or as few) as they wish. For more information, or to join the Continuing Generations group, please email Perri Doll, Community Engagement Senior Manager.

Legal Committee
A forum for discussions linking lessons from the Holocaust and other genocides with contemporary issues in a legal context. It is comprised of lawyers with a wide range of practice areas, and a common interest learning about the Holocaust.
The Legal Committee assists in the planning of periodic Continuing Legal Education (CLE) sessions. For more information, or if you are interested in joining the Legal Committee, please email Jessica Michels, Director of Development.
