Holocaust by Bullets in Central and Eastern Europe Teacher Seminar
October 7 - 8, 2023 at the Henry and Sandra Friedman Holocaust Center for Humanity
In partnership with Yahad -In Unum, the Holocaust Center for Humanity is offering a 2-day, in person, seminar in which teachers will learn about the millions of Jewish and non-Jewish victims murdered at gun point in the fields, forests, and ravines in Central and Eastern Europe by the Nazis and their collaborators.
This 16-hour teacher workshop offers a condensed historical overview of the Holocaust by Bullets history and provides teachers with practical educational tools to be used in the classroom. The emphasis is on studying and teaching Holocaust by Bullets as a crime, and on making connections with today’s violence and human rights violations.
Teachers will receive practical educational and methodological tools to be used in the classroom.
Cost: A $35 registration fee covers materials as well as lunch on both days.
Clock Hours: Clock Hours will be available for Washington State teachers.
